Enjoying the Arts in Jacksonville
One of the best things about living on Florida’s First Coast is that it’s so easy to make an effort to get out and take part in a vibrant arts community. Traveling exhibits that stop at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville give those who live on the First Coast the chance to experience things that they wouldn’t see elsewhere:

Sijan’s life-size sculptures represent one of three new exhibits at MOCA on display through Jan. 4, joining a collection of new works by some of Jacksonville’s most well-known local artists and a new addition to the museum’s permanent collection.
One of the best parts about living in Florida - whether you’re in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, Ponce Inlet or Jacksonville Beach - is that the local art community is thriving. More importantly, it’s also possible to get a sense of what other artists are doing as well. The arts are a vital part of the way that people see the world; why not live in a place where the arts are very much aline?
