This year, 305 anglers have registered for the event. The captain’s meeting will be held at 6:15 p.m. Friday, May 2 at the Morocco Shrine Center, 3800 St. Johns Bluff Road.

Hundreds of anglers and families show up, but the meeting also is open to the public. It will give attendees a great idea of the possibilities and pluses of stalking fish in the stealth of a kayak.

When you take advantage of fishing events like these, you don’t just have the chance to see what you can catch, you can also learn a lot more about fishing by kayak and all of the advantages that it brings. Add to that the likelihood of great photo memories, and chances to win awards and raffle prizes and you’ve got more than just a great event; you’ve got a chance to make your good luck work for you.
